Amy Skinner begins her three-day clinic with a talk on the classical training scale, explaining rhythm, relaxation, contact, impulsion, straightness and collection, and showing how these principles support the needs of modern horses. The clinic then moves into the yard where she works with students in small groups, giving riders the chance to put theory into practice. Each morning session builds on the previous one, so participants and spectators can follow the steady progression of lessons. With clinics running in the mornings only, you are free to explore the rest of the event in the afternoons, book a second lesson or try a different class, and remember that stables must be booked separately.

Anna Greystone will be offering individual carriage driving lessons throughout Horse Expo, providing participants with focused one-on-one instruction. These sessions give drivers the opportunity to refine their handling, improve safety and technique, and gain confidence working in harness with direct feedback tailored to their experience level. With individual coaching, each lesson is designed to meet the rider’s goals and build skills that carry over into everyday training and competition.

Tanja Mitton’s three-day clinic begins in the classroom where she focuses on mindset, helping riders understand how their thoughts and confidence influence their results. On the second day she shifts the focus to rider position, showing how small adjustments can improve balance, effectiveness and communication. The final day takes place in the horse yard where participants put mindset and position into practice with their horses. All three sessions run in the mornings, giving riders time in the afternoons to explore the rest of the event, book a second lesson or join another class, and stables must be booked separately.
