Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions – Moreton Bay Horse Expo 2025 These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticket purchases, clinic bookings, and participation in the Moreton Bay Horse Expo 2025 (“the Event”). By purchasing a ticket or booking a clinic, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Details & Changes The Event will be held from 14 – 16 November 2025 at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC), Cnr Tuckeroo Drive & Beerburrum Road, Caboolture QLD 4510. Clinic times, locations, and presenters may change at any time due to scheduling requirements, unforeseen circumstances, or the availability of presenters. The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program without prior notice where necessary. If changes occur, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the contact details provided at booking.

2. Waiver & Release of Liability All participants in clinics, demonstrations, or other interactive sessions are required to sign a Waiver & Release of Liability before participating. Failure to sign the waiver will result in exclusion from participation, with no entitlement to a refund. The waiver will outline risks associated with horse-related activities, including the potential for injury or property damage, and will release the organiser, presenters, and venue from liability to the extent permitted by law.

3. Ticket & Clinic Bookings Your booking is confirmed once full payment is received. Tickets and clinic bookings are non-transferable without prior written consent from the organiser. Entry wristbands or passes must be worn or shown at all times while on site.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy Participant cancellations – Refunds will only be issued if cancellation is received in writing at least 35 days before the Event start date, or if we are able to resell your booking. Cancellations received after this time are non-refundable unless your booking can be resold. Non-attendance – No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to attend. Organiser cancellations – If the Event or a booked clinic is cancelled by the organiser, you will be entitled to a full refund for the affected ticket or clinic fee. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Safety & Behaviour All attendees must follow directions from the organiser, venue staff, and presenters at all times. Unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviour towards horses, presenters, staff, or other attendees will result in removal from the Event without refund. Horses must be handled in a safe and humane manner at all times. Dogs are not permitted unless pre-approved as part of accessibility requirements.

6. Photography, Filming & Media The Event may be photographed, filmed, or live streamed. By attending, you consent to the use of your image, voice, and likeness in promotional material, without payment or the need for further approval. Personal photography or filming must not interfere with the Event or infringe on the rights of others. Certain sessions may be designated as “no filming” and must be respected.

7. Weather & Force Majeure The Event will proceed in most weather conditions. The organiser may cancel, postpone, or modify the Event due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control (“force majeure”). In such cases, the organiser will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees and, where possible, reschedule the Event. Refunds will be offered where required by law.

8. Contact & Communication By booking, you consent to being contacted via email regarding Event updates, scheduling changes, and important attendee information. For all enquiries, cancellations, or requests, please contact support@horse-expo.com.
